Welcome to Super Simple — the best way to go down the Web3 rabbit hole
Short summaries of curated content. No external links. No biases. < 5 mins. Free
Stumbled on to here? Learn more about Super Simple and the potential gameplan
1. Keep it Super Simple
The goal is to make everything as easy to understand as possible, while still climbing a difficult learning curve
Though its ideal to be able to ELI5 new concepts, I can't promise that everything will be ELI5'ed (ELI5 as in Explain Like I'm Five)
But I can promise it will never be too convoluted, over-reliant on jargon or too technical
2. Never more than 5 minutes
On average a summary is 4 minutes per 1 hour of content
If a summary is split in to multiple parts, its only because I think the topics are best absorbed separately
Or the source content is covering too many topics that get confusing when blended
3. Summary Only — Plagiarism Yes. Biases No.
All credit goes to the original creators of the content
Ideas can be added from outside the source content but the topics covered are only those covered in the source
For eg. external blogs and tweets by a guest on the same topic
No opinions and personal thoughts are woven in
Notes are only in the beginning and end
The summaries are never capturing the entire episode. They just can't
Any misrepresentation of someone's views is unintentional
I am attempting to represent people's views with as high fidelity and as little editorialization as possible
Rampant plagiarism. Quotes aren’t quotes
4. No External Links
Initial feedback helped me realize a grave mistake — external links
Not only was this leading to new rabbit holes, the desire to click away breaks the momentum of absorbing the content
There is usually some thought put behind the flow of the piece which also is rendered moot
Anything that deserves a link is:
footnoted; or
explained using external readings within the summary itself; or
available for reference in Basics
If I miss something, feel free to comment and let me know
5. This is not investment advice
You will quickly notice that there is no schilling of cryptocurrencies here
However, great Web3 content tends to come from its evangelists. And they are obviously bullish and invested in the space in some way or another
I am not making any effort to "represent both sides" of the argument
Crypto and Web 3 has its naysayers, many of them high profile
However, if something good pops up that is bearish on the space, I will happily incorporate it
Feel free to reach out or comment and point me to any such content
6. Free
The summaries will always be free
It's not my content, after all. I just want to help
However....On average, it takes me 15-20 hours to save you 1 hour (absurd I know, I expected the number to be half. I'm still learning)
So these are some ways you can help justify the time spent:

Did I save you time? Did the summaries help you appreciate something you just watched? Can you think about these concepts better now? Are you better at articulating them? Did it help things "click" for you?
If you are like most people I know, some of these outcomes are worth $ to you (or worth BTC, I should say). If yes, you can show some love in many ways.
If this wasn’t worth any $ or didn’t save you time, all good! Maybe you are just exploring and learning, like I was. Just make sure you subscribe so you don’t miss out.
And if you feel like going the extra mile, share Super Simple with someone who you think would benefit from it.
People probably value your curation. We won’t disappoint them.
